All this happened atthe periphery ofthe Beruni Dump.
Police who arrived atthe crime scene afterthe killing saidthe deceased was chopped up by bush knifes.
It all started whenthe victim ofthe cartheft instead of reportingthe matter tothe police had mobilised his relatives and had gone intothe Dump Settlement area.
It is allegedthey burnt down several houses and took some pig withthem.
When Police arrived atthe crime scene,the settlement was deserted. It is believedthey fled tothe nearby mountains.
Followingthe killing ofthe man,the relatives came back to fight withthe settlers but police intervention stopped futher violence.
Police say tension is high and are appealing to both groups to leavethe matter intheir hands for proper investigation to take place.
