Kumul Petroleum Holding Limited signs Management Agreement with Site Group

Kumul Petroleum Holding Limited (KPHL) has signed a 6-year exclusive agreement with Site Group International to manage and operate one of their subsidiary – Kumul Petroleum Academy.

Director for KPA, Wapu Sonk says the agreement is an essential building block in KPHL’s quest to become a National Oil and Gas Company and able to develop and demonstrate that PNG have a competent skilled workforce.

Mr Sonk added that the partnership would be a great help in Kumul Petroleum achieving this goal.

“This agreement is a statement of intent which will also benefit our partnerships with ExxonMobil, Oil Search and TOTAL, where we will be able to provide a long-term, in-country solution to competence and skills development that will be mapped to recognised international standards.

“And will provide the platform for long term development and sustainability,” adds Sonk.

Kumul Petroleum Academy is a competence based Training, Coaching and Assessment Centre which focuses on Oil, Gas, Energy and Power Industry.
