Kuichi visits PM OO’Neill

Papua New Guineaand Japan will continue to strenthentheir bilateral relationship.

Japan’s Vice Foreign Minister Minoru Kuichi made that known in his courtesy call to Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.

 

Vice Minister, Kuichi, was accompanlied by his government officers asthey met with Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill and Finance Minister, James Marape at Air Ways Hotel in Port Moresby.

 

Their discussions centered on exchanged programs underthe Japan East Asia Network of exchange for Students and Youths andthe Kizuna Declaration. This includes special visa arrangements to facilitate applications for diplomatic and official passport holders.

 

O’Neill told Mr Kuichi that Japan’s assistance will continue to make positive contributions tPNG’s economic and social development.

 

He futher assured Mr Kuichi thaPNG Government will support Japan’s bid to hostthe 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
