By Rayon Lakingu -EMTV Sports, Port Moresby

Years of hard work have finally paid off, as Kramer Ausenco Brothers came out as the champions of this year’s Capital Rugby Union Premierships.

In the grand final match played on Saturday, Brothers trashed Harlequins 32 points to 5, to take the Premiership title.

Kramer Ausenco Brothers Club President George Koi, was a very happy man when his Club’s premier team, took out the title for this season.

In a post-match interview with EMTV Sports,  the President said, the boys have put in a lot of effort in training and their games in general, over the last ten years. Their last grand final appearance in 2007, ended badly for them.

The grand final match with Harlequins was tough, however, the Brothers managed to come out as the champions.

In other matches, in the Under 19 and Women’s divisions, Valley Hunters went down to Nova, 5 points to 8 and Wanderers beat Nova 24 to 10.

In the A and B grades, Wanderers lost to Brothers 15, while Nova defeated Uni Piggies, 22 points to 10.
