Kokoda Track to be repaired

More improvements are expected to repair the iconic Kokoda Track in the Northern Province.

This follows an agreement between the Kokoda Track Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service.

Nine rangers from Queensland will work KTA staff to maintain key sections of the track and keep its historical significance.

Tourism Minister Tobias Kulang, and Queensland National Parks Steven Miles signed the agreement in Australia recently.

Kokoda Track will also celebrarte its 75th Anniversary this year.
