Hunters Round 24

The SP PNG Hunters are now on the road to play their away matches, and are ready to take on Wynumm Manly Seagulls, were made without the inclusion of David Loko and George Benson.

The duo was stood down for two matches last weekend while welcoming back Adam Korave from injury.

Korave, returning from injury, will be pushing for selection in the final 17 man team.

The four straight home ground wins have gained momentum for Hunters to faceoff tough Seagulls outfit who are finding form ahead of the finals.

The 40-22 win over Ipswich Jets last weekend determined an unchanged starting 13 with seven players on the bench.

The Marum coached side created hype at Kalabond Oval ever since they dubbed it as their graveyard.

The third placed Wynumm Manly Seagulls are expected to pose a threat on our boys with strong contingent at their own turf this Sunday.

But the Hunters are hoping for a capacity crowd of PNG’supporters as the game coming to the brim of the season and run to the finals.

Meanwhile Northern Prides maintain the top spot with 40 points, followed East Tigers on 33 while Hunters remain in sixth.
